Good news everyone!

Tonight we learned that the Southeast Action Forum has been given the grant it requested.

Which means, on May 12th - between the hours of 1:30p and 3:30p, the Southeast Action Forum will be holding a full-tilt Ice Cream Social.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors down to Old Firehouse #6 (aka Police Substation) at 1015 Jamison Ave. SE, (parking on Bullitt, as available) for some ice cream, sno-cones, and other fun and games. We will even have prizes!

Plus, you get the opportunity to explore one of Southeast's hidden treasures, the 1911-built Fire Station #6 - hear the stories of how it worked when it was a firehouse, when it became a community center, and it's current use - a police substation. 96 years of history.

Begin making plans to attend this free event.

The Southeast Action Forum welcomes you.
