The Roanoke Valley's Clean Valley Council is seeking litter-hunting volunteers for its yearly cleanup Saturday, March 31. The 28th annual Clean Valley Day is supported by Botetourt County, the City of Roanoke, Roanoke County, the City of Salem, the Town of Vinton and the Virginia Department of Transportation. It is sponsored by the Clean Valley Council and Blue Ridge Outdoors.The council urges volunteers scout favorite parks, roadways and by ways as potential cleanup sites.Supplies will be provided for the clean up. To register your team, call Clean Valley Council at 345-5523 and ask for a registration form.
